Our passengers told about us
The day after we got home, I signed up for the next tour. What more can I say? 🙂 Planning and organization that is attentive to everything, but still flexible to sudden situations and requests. Wonderful accommodation, comfortable cars, with 2 professional drivers tour guides who took us to the most beautiful places in the most beautiful light and even above the clouds. While taking photos, they let us unfold when they saw fit, but we got detailed, expert answers to our questions. And Madeira... Lots of greenery, flowers, mountains, beaches. Truly the eternal spring, which is my favourite season. Thanks for everything, see you again!

It was the first time I had ever been on such a professionally organised tour. My hats off to Krisztián and Zsolt for the organisation and execution, I can't imagine how much time they spent to make this tour such a great success. I enjoyed every minute of it, time flew by from 6am to 10pm, 62 km walking and 1000 km driving. We covered almost every corner of the island, taking photos in some of the most beautiful landscapes.

I was part of the BestPhotoTour team for the third time. The organisers welcomed me as a good friend at a petrol station on the motorway when I got into the car. Because they were also there to help me with the journey to the airport from near where I live.
I had longed to visit the island of Madeira. I had heard a lot about it and seen many, many pictures. But even with all the pictures I had seen, I hadn't expected to see such beautiful places as the ones I had visited with Krisztián and Zsolt.
Every day we could see the morning wake up from a variety of new coastal vantage points and say goodbye to the landscape in the evening from the descending clouds.
Here I also took photos from places different from the others, which was tolerated sympathetically by the organisers. Thanks for that !
It would be nice if there were more destinations to choose from on similarly organised tours.

As a beginner hobby photographer, I signed up for my first photo tour as a hiker, but I'm sure there will be more! The best choice was the Bestphototour team, led by Krisztián and Zsolt. They gave me a lot of useful advice, were helpful and encouraging, which inspired me a lot, and I didn't feel uncomfortable as a beginner.
They prepared the trip in a professional way, thinking about every detail, so that every participant of the tour could come back with an unforgettable experience. They made the most of every day. They were open to suggestions from the team and there was always the opportunity to sample local flavours.
The location and standard of the hotel was also fantastic.
The island of Madeira is beautiful. We experienced sunrises and sunsets in magical locations. We drove our cars around the island several times, seeing beautiful flowers everywhere, as if I had stumbled onto a botanical island with banana plantations. The cliffs, the sea, the forests were also unforgettable photo spots.
The team and the atmosphere were great, I am glad to have been part of it and to have met you!

It was my first time on a Bestphototour photography tour, but I decided on the first day that it would not be my last. I have to admit that I went as a complete layman with a phone, but thanks to the infinite patience and creativity of Krisztián and Zsolt I was able to learn a lot of basic concepts. According to them, the worst question is the one you don't ask. The island of Madeira is breathtakingly beautiful, with so much to discover, and our guides always tried to show you in the most perfect conditions and lighting. During our stay, we managed to travel around the island, I don't think there was a single serpentine road or tunnel that we didn't drive through in our cars. We had no problem dealing with unexpected situations, they were always open to ideas from the team. It was a great group of people and I'm grateful to have met new people and had the chance to see nature through the eyes of photographers.

This is the second time I have chosen Bestphototour, but I can safely say it will not be the last! I have always dreamed of visiting Scandinavia, but Lofoten is truly Norway's treasure box. It's hard to put into words the flood of visuals that washed over us from the first minute, but many times I couldn't decide whether to tilt my head to the right or left in amazement. Fabulous fjords, sometimes green, sometimes angry blue bays border everything as far as the eye can see.
The weather is a great fun master, as it can show its full spectrum of bright sunshine in half an hour,
to a hail of ice and a quiet snowfall. No two days in a row have ever had the same mood in the same place! Tiny villages (a few chalets, actually) dot the archipelago, dressed in pastel shades of yellow, green, white and red, their windows decorated with tiny lanterns to adorn the often dramatic glacial valleys. Our accommodation was set on the shores of a beautiful bay, Scandinavian in the form of purist but fully equipped chalets. Our twice-daily meals were plentiful, and for lunch a coffee and a slice of Norwegian pastry was usually enough. Our daily travel was provided by two Peugeot 5008s, which were extremely comfortable. Zsolt and Krisztián are both professional drivers, and not once did we have any problems on even the most hilly of roads. There was always plenty of time for the daily photo shoots, they were never in a hurry, but if something caught the team's attention unexpectedly, they would stop immediately to get the lens. This attitude has been with us all the way to Tuscany. They constantly encourage you, teach you, give you their opinion on your photos if you ask, all with the utmost respect. The biggest test, however, was the wind and sudden snow squalls, but after the third such storm, we enjoyed watching entire mountain ranges disappear into the cloud cover and then reappear ten minutes later. If you want to see a rugged yet beautiful place but don't want to travel all the way to Iceland, Lofoten is the place to go. And if you want an eternally optimistic photo tour with professional guides, Bestphototour!

This was the second time I took part in the BestPhotoTour trip, and this time I chose Norway. Well, I don't regret it at all! To quote a fellow traveller: "I can't catch my breath because the scenery is so beautiful!" This trip fulfilled all my expectations. In fact, it surpassed it, as we were greeted by a spectacle of northern lights in the sky on the day of arrival! You have to see this at least once in your life, because it is out of this world. But the same can be said of the Lofoten Islands, because every day, at every time of day, it shows a different face. And I really liked them all. I enjoyed photographing the beach in gale-force winds and sprinkled with ice as much as I enjoyed photographing the little Norwegian houses hiding at the foot of the coastal mountains lit by the morning sun. There was such an intimate calm that settled over the week that I'm sure it wasn't the last time I'd be here. But none of this could have happened without the professional organisation and the always optimistic attitude of Krisz and Zsolt. Even on the darkest, most gloomy days, they find the lights that make the journey worthwhile. The whole trip would have been colder and greyer without them. Glad to have been part of the Norwegian team 😊! The continuation is for sure, the locations are just piling up 😃!

For Christmas my wife gave me the Lofoten tour as a present. It was a dream of mine to go to Norway. I had been struggling with photography before the trip, sometimes I liked it, sometimes not. So I was a bit afraid of the trip, how I would feel with zero photographic experience ( no equipment, just a phone), among photographers with more serious knowledge. With Krisztián's help, we put together a beginner's kit, because I was determined that if anything could give me a push to take photos, it would be this trip. The remaining excitement dissipated at the first meeting. Krisztián and Zsolt are extremely well prepared, with precise and accurate itineraries for the tours. They are helpful and friendly and answer all questions IS. There were alternatives for all weather conditions so we didn't get bored. In fact, from the second day onwards you felt as if you had gone hiking with a thousand year old group of friends. On the negative side, anyone who goes hiking with Bestphototour should be prepared for the time to pass twice as fast and find themselves landing at Ferihegy. I hope to be back with them again soon for another once in a lifetime experience.

Well, we had a blast on our Lofoten photo tour!
Krisztián was our wedding photographer, which is how we ended up with Bestphototour. It was on my husband's bucket list to go to Norway and he was interested in photography, so he got this tour as a Christmas present from the family.
Then came our wedding and we arranged to have a day of creative photography abroad, as we were still living in Australia at the time. In the meantime we moved back home and we didn't want to go back there for a photo shoot. Then came the question "but where then?". Krisz jokingly threw out the idea that I should go with them to Norway and do a creative shoot there. After a bit of thinking, I said yes, we said yes. It was the second best yes of our married life.. 🙂
I came to the trip as an "outsider" but came home knowing that I love (and maybe I can say I know) how to drone 😁 I was initially intimidated, especially by the wind and altitude, but that quickly changed with the influence of the others.
My husband came to the tour as a complete beginner hobby photographer where he really got all the help he needed to become a better photographer. Comparing his pictures from the first and last day, he did it.. 🙂 Zsolt and Krisztián give us everything we need to learn photography, we just have to take advantage of the opportunities.
The tour guides will solve all your requests, be it personal, photo-related, individual or group requests - obviously as far as possible. Not once have we heard that it won't work.. 🙂
In fact, pages could be written about the time spent there and the positive experiences, based on good organisation and company, but I find it unnecessary.
Go and experience it! Only then can you understand what you see in the photos and read in the reviews! For us it was our first, but certainly not our last Bestphoto tour!
Thanks for everything!

I've wanted to go to the Dolomites for years after seeing other photographers' pictures and I was really looking forward to the tour after I applied for the last available place. I was not disappointed, in fact I fell in love with the mountains. I got wonderful pictures, lots of help, but most importantly for me, lots of experiences. I made memories in a stunning location, comfortable accommodation, delicious food and lovely new friends. I will never forget it.
Thank you 🙂

This trip is for those who are very serious about photography. Priority is given to all related activities and decisions. The flexible approach of the guides allows for individual ideas, but there's not really much need for that, because the planned photo locations and the time spent there will keep everyone happy. The accommodation, half board, is of a high standard. It is a hassle-free, comfortable way to do in-depth creative work.

From the moment I signed up, I knew I was in for a good ride and a good team. I can only recommend Krisztián and Zsolt to any beginner or professional photographer as they have the expertise and knowledge of the landscape that makes things so much easier for everyone. They will help you in any way during the photography so that you return home with more and more beautiful pictures. They can even help you rent an obiective if you need it. Thank you so much for the experience and help. I will be back with you. Good Better Bestphototour!!

What an adventure to explore the stunning Dolomites with Zsolt and Krisztián!
This was our 4th trip with them and of course it was great!
The small group format was a great way to make new friends,
and plenty of time to explore and capture the beauty and detail of the landscape.
Being in the Dolomites in autumn is literally a breathtaking, stunning visual experience.
We were taken to incredible places, given all the support we needed to take pictures.
Being out in the best places at the right time shows how well prepared this tour was.
Thanks Zsolti and Krisz for a fantastic days !

Fabulous scenery, wonderful organisation, patience, good humour, lots of laughs, brilliant photos, a complete forgetfulness of grey reality and an extra kilo... that's what the Tuscany photo tour meant to me.

Several times during our photography tours, I tried to find a separate route and take photos in different locations, separately from the others. Taking pictures from different places, from different angles, so that not everyone's were the same. These separate journeys have been dubbed Hambalgo's wanderings. Well, on returning from one of these separate trips, Krisztián came up to me and said the following. "Misi, tell me where you want me to take you." And from that one sentence I realized what this whole trip was about. It's about the organizers trying to do everything they can to make sure that the pictures are what the group members involved imagined, or even thought of.

Tuscany: the very name makes you long to travel to a land of beauty. Spring in Tuscany , can you imagine ?
The unforgettable dawn and dusk landscape photography in magical light. After the morning photoshoot, walks in wonderful Tuscan small towns, good conversations with fresh white bread, olive oil, cheese and red wine. Street photography, life photos. Star photography at night. Wandering through the Tuscan countryside , among vineyards, cedars, castles, with the following locations in mind. With Zsolt and Krisztián, this is our third photo tour. This time again carefully planned, organized, transport to the location , settings and clicks. Is there more to a photo tour than that?

I had the pleasure of participating in the 2022 Tuscany photo tour. From the very first moment they provided me with useful information, there was no question or request that seemed impossible for them to fulfil. If something was not realistic, we were given a suitable alternative. The trip went smoothly, we travelled in two separate cars, and both tour guides were excellent drivers. They always provided helpful advice on photography, but never in an intrusive way. The atmosphere was very good throughout, we took every obstacle with humour. Perhaps it says it all that I haven't even got home yet, I have already signed up

I believe in fateful encounters. Sitting on a mountaintop during a late summer hike in Austria, I wondered if the peaks in the distance could be the famous peaks of the Dolomites. As soon as I opened Facebook, the Dolomites photo tour popped up. I didn't think twice about signing up!
Before we left, we received useful tips on equipment, an itemised list of suitcase contents, really thinking of everything (I'll come back to you with a lock of hair).
The programme was very well planned, we took all the time we could to visit the spots that had been thrown up by the net earlier. If there was somewhere we couldn't go, we had a plan B with an immediate response!
Krisz and Zsolt showed a new perspective with their amazing drone footage, infecting a few members of the team:-)
I had never used filters before, but they convinced me of their usefulness. I can't say that I have learned, but I have improved a lot in this field!
As photographers, you are true professionals, tour guides with a great sense of humour, understanding and patience! Stay like that forever!
The team was excellent, everyone was very helpful! I learned a lot not only about photography, but also about drinking wheat beer, that there IS an app for everything, about the stability of the one-legged alpine cows, and other really useful everyday questions:-)
I've been looking at photography courses for a long time, but these few days have confirmed that I don't need one!
Thank you for everything, I believe this was not my only experience with you!

It was a great experience to spend 5 days with the BestPhotoTour team! Both the places visited and the organisers exceeded my expectations. We had a great team of people with whom I had a great time not only during the photoshoots but also during the dinners we had together. Krisztián and Zsolt were extremely helpful throughout the trip! We asked them a lot of questions during the shoot, but they were tireless 😊. They took us to places and times that really made you feel like you just had to press the shutter button to get the perfect shot. I learned a lot from them during these 5 days, both technically and practically. I didn't miss a single day of the trip. How could I not, as we were able to photograph sunrises and sunsets in perfect lighting conditions every day! The only thing we missed was star photography, but we'll make up for it next time! Because there will be a next time 😉! Thank you both for the experience of a lifetime (and photos)!

Hello!
Let me tell you about the few days we spent together in the Dolomites:
I have always wanted to experience the magic of the Dolomites. I have always been fascinated by the pictures taken there. The magic of the Dolomites has always fascinated me. How to be in the right place at the right time? The way the Best Photo Touros do it! We were always in the right place at the right time! I've been taking photos for a relatively long time, but they helped me when I needed it, with the right settings and the right tools! Travel, accommodation, etc.? Everything went like clockwork. All we had to worry about was the photography. We were always there before sunset, before sunrise, in the best possible locations. So by the time the "lights came on" we just had to expose.
In addition to the experiences, I wanted to take pictures that I could print out and hang on my wall and be proud to show my family and friends. Some of the pictures will, I hope, be "put on the wall" in international competitions.
I will certainly travel with them.

This was not the first time I went to take photos with Bestphototour. I also took part in the tour of Norway, so it’s no coincidence that I chose them again. Why was this trip a huge experience again? Because he had everything he needed. Great organization, maximum attention and of course the venue. I can't imagine a more interesting place than Iceland. It was everything we could expect from nature. The weather from 8 degrees C to 27 degrees, rain, wind, beautiful sunshine, sea, mountain, flowering field, ice, volcano continue? All I can say is, if you’re not afraid of challenges, if you don’t want to be in a hotel, if you’re curious about a fantastic country and want to photograph this, then this is the place for you.
Agi PetroIceland, 2021
I love to take photos, but nature photography has not been one of my highlights so far. Nonetheless, I stood with great desire for the Icelandic adventure. It may seem commonplace for every photographer to dream of getting here, but this tour exceeded all my expectations, which was due to Zsolt and Krisztián in addition to the wonderful sights. Site selection, organization, flexibility, service, professional support, ideas, patience, all 5 *. As a passenger, I had no choice but to accommodate and try to capture the sight unfolding before us. I think anyone who loves to take photos and really want to focus on photography during a trip should have it with the guys at least once, but beware it can easily be followed by more hikes than I probably have…

This was the first time I had embarked on a photography tour. I saw Zsolt's pictures of Lofoten and then I decided that I should see this too. The preparation of the tour was already great, Zsolt drew our attention to all the important things, what to take with us, what to expect, how long the trip will take, he helped to get the filters, the photo gloves, the heating pads. This careful preparation was typical of the whole trip. We went to well thought out, planned locations, always changing according to the weather. We got to know a beautiful landscape and were able to take photos. I never thought white snow had that much color. It glows in the rising sun, in blue hours all purple sometimes yellow sometimes green, this must be seen and captured. We also received professional help before, during and after photography. There were three of us, so Zsolt had time for everyone and even after dinner he enthusiastically explained the mysteries of photoshop. The week was practically all about photography. It was a very good mood tour that I will always be happy to think back to, I learned a lot and got richer with a wonderful experience.
Agi PteroLofoten, 2020
The photo tour of Lofoten was a challenge for me in many ways. I don’t like winter, and I’m learning digital photography right now. Every minute of the tour was a great experience. With his usual calm precision, Zsolt thought of everything he had organized. And Lofoten is amazing. The color of the water and mountains as well as the lights change every minute due to the rapidly changing weather and the sun moving on the low slopes. Zsolt took us to the best places for photographers - morning-noon-evening - explained the current settings. Sometimes we were so fascinated by photography that we didn’t even notice it was raining in the rain, snow, or ice. And when we ran into our red house by the water, the photoshop course began. I didn't like the winter now either, so next summer we will go to Iceland with Zsolt.
Gyula PetroLofoten, 2020
It was a very good decision to join the Best Photo Tour team during the tour in Lofoten, Norway. I can only recommend it to everyone. It was one of the best, most beautiful, most exciting experiences of my life. I learned a lot about photography, Zsolt and Krisztián helped us with their great experience. The community and atmosphere were great too. We visited beautiful places, focusing specifically on the photographer’s attractions. It was an experience of a lifetime, next time I will choose them!
Krisztian BoharLofoten, 2020
I am very happy to have been a member of the 2021 Icelandic team. What did I like best? It’s hard to articulate, because by the time I describe it, another memory is coming up.
Lights, colors, flowery meadows, black sand, green mossy mountains, the light of a working volcano, geysers, glaciers, waterfalls, a magical landscape that changes every kilometer, the weather that changes every ten minutes. When the sun shines and it rains suddenly, the Icelanders are not angry, “because it’s just a wet sunshine” and the photographers say, “so now everything will be nicer…” You would stop every minute to take pictures in a different mood, and if it wasn’t always an option, we folded, “then next year when we return”. The dynamism of our perfect organization and tour leaders - Zsolt and Krisztián - and their fanaticism towards photography captivated our tireless team with a good atmosphere. The 8 days soon flew away.
Gyula PetroIceland, 2021
I think an Icelandic photo tour is on the boots list of almost every nature photographer. The country itself, this beautiful island is impressive for an "average" traveler - well, even for a photographer! With the comprehensive attention and guidance of Krisz and Zsolt, it was easy to prepare, the administration and procurement went smoothly - so all that was left was the excitement before leaving, no worries! In Iceland, too, everything went super, if there was a change / problem, they were already on the solution. It was a special experience that not during the planning, but during our trip, photography was already a functioning - and quite "easily" accessible - volcano, and with that it became a part of our lives! Special thanks to them for understanding my featured passion for this attraction - and hiking together we had a huge experience (and pictures!). We saw so many miracles in 8 days! However, this is not enough - as there are still so many wonderful places on the island, the tour was not enough for half (although more than 1,500 pictures were taken)! We will definitely go back if we have the opportunity!
