The Dolomites (Dolomiti in Italian; Dolomiten in German; Dolomitis in Friulian) are one of the mountain groups of the Alps. It is situated in northern Italy, most of it in the province of Belluno in the Venetoregion. Geologically, the mountains are made of light-colored dolomite limestone, carved into breathtakingly photogenic shapes by erosion. The shape of these mountains is very spectacular, which makes this place a popular destination for photographers.
Autumn is a great time for this magical visit when the valleys and forests are decorated in beautiful colors. The uniquely bold peaks above the green meadows and under the blue sky provide a unique and breathtaking sight. Vertical walls, beautiful cliffs, turquoise lakes that reflect the majesty of the surrounding vast mountains, alpine meadows reminiscent of Switzerland. Huge pine and larch forests that show their most striking and vibrant colors at this time of year. At sunrise and sunset, the peaks of the Dolomites glow in warm orange and gold. We occupy our accommodation at the Hotel in the centre of Cortina d'Ampezzo.. We spend the afternoon hours at the nearby passes and take photos. We return to our accommodation for dinner. If the group would like to take star photos at night and the weather permits, we will return to the field. We visit easily accessible places by car. It is important that we do not go on performance tour.
After breakfast we aim at the Falzarego Pass, and in the morning we can see wonderful lights. Before leave we warm up for the photo shoot on the shores of Lake Misurina. Our afternoon location will be Lake Braies which will allows to photograph the crystal clear water lake in the mountains from several sides.
We start the day at the hotel with breakfast then head to the lake of Carezza. We drive to Santa Maddalena in the mountains. We take a short walk between photo points and discuss the setting under the circumstances.
The Giau Pass offers many opportunities for telephoto shooting, and in clear weather, distant mountains can be seen. One day is not enough to photograph every little detail we want. We also visit Lake Lago di Lando before departure. When the weather permits and the team wants to take star photos, we’ll go back to the field.
We take our way home (if we want to go back to the place we saw during our tour, we can do it after breakfast). Say goodbye to Dolomites and check out from accommodation.
We reserve the right to change the program! The main purpose of our trip is photography. It’s to get the best possible photos in the best possible places. However, this sometimes requires sacrifices: unexpected situations – weather changes and other environmental factors – may overwrite the planned program. For us, participants’ safety is of the utmost importance: if a program is canceled or delayed, it will only be to provide the best possible experience.
If due to an unexpected event, a program cannot be completed at all at the announced time, the tour guide will try to reorganize and regroup the programs.
The most important thing for the organizers is to have fun, but the final decision is theirs and must be followed by all participants. Good health is a prerequisite for traveling. Serious cardiovascular problems, nervous and mental disorders can be disqualifying factors. Consult your doctor if your personal condition requires it.
Our leaders will show you what and how to do it. We deal with everyone individually. We adapt to the circumstances. If the weather or lighting conditions are not suitable, we will return so that we can photograph the selected subject under the most suitable conditions. One thing is for sure: thanks to the memory of our camera (not to mention our own), the memory of the trip will stay with us forever.

Helpful staff. Great buffet breakfast. There is also a very good restaurant in this hotel. During our tour we use the same accommodation, we come back „home” every night. Photography and cultivation play an important role in our journey. In the paradise of landscape photography, we can quickly learn the best settings. The photo tour is suitable for both beginner and advanced photographers. A small group allows us to respond to individual needs. You will have plenty of opportunities to practice and share your experiences with like-minded people. We spend the evenings with conversation and picture evaluation.

I hiked, climbed mountains, and then I wanted to bring home what I saw in the mountains, so photography came into my life as a hobby, and after ten years as a profession. I’ve shared my experiences and what I’ve seen with the public in several exhibitions and travelogues. Since I decided to get the FIAP (Fédération Internationale de I’Art Photographique), I have been awarded special prizes, distinctions and acceptances in international competitions. I want to show our travellers the exciting and varied world of landscape photography.

I started out photographing birds, with which I achieved good results in national and international competitions. After a while my interest turned to landscape photography. Two years ago I also started to explore the mysteries of drone photography.
My work has been successfully entered in competitions such as National Geographic, Nature Photographer of the Year, Magic Hungary, PCCS International Salon, Sony, vadon.ro, IBP Dreamscapes International Salon, MAFOSZ, FIAP, Pannonia Reflections, BPOTY and WildLifePhoto.
My photographs are in permanent exhibitions and I have recently had two books published privately.

Photography is not just a hobby for me – it is a passion inspired by my love of nature. I am fascinated by the beauty of the landscape and the uniqueness of the built environment. Photographic tours allow us to get closer to the wonders of nature, to discover the beauty that surrounds us and to get away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Besides landscape photography, interior and street photography have a special place in my life. In 2023, I tried to deepen my knowledge in this field by taking a course in Street Photography at MOME. My pictures try to capture the special atmosphere of each location, the magic of the moment and the diversity of the world.
