Iceland photo tour

An unforgettable photographer experience in the land of ice and fire

Iceland – the „land of ice and fire” – is one of the most spectacularplaces in the world. It is one of the first on every person’s list who loves to take pictures. This diverse selection of landscapes and natural phenomena cannot see elsewhere. In these eight days, we will discover this special world.
On our tour, our photography destinations range from glaciersthrough cascading waterfalls to black sand beaches with randomly placed blue ice fragments.
During the tour („midnight sun”) there will be the most beautiful lights and colors that can’t be experienced anywhere else on Earth.

Tour attractions

Our tour focuses on the south-west and south of the island where most fantastic photography sites are located. At this time of year, it’s the most beautiful and greenest nature, warmest weather, longest days. Iceland is a mysterious, unique, enchanted island with almost no Earthly characteristics. This statement is not exaggerated at all, since Apollo astronauts have also been sent to Iceland for training; according to the program’s geologist, here on Earth, the inner regions of Iceland are the most similar to the Moon. When Neil Armstrong successfully returned from the Apollo 11 space mission, he was asked what it was like to walk on the Moon, to which he replied that it was exactly like Iceland. In the land of fire and ice not only natural wonders but also culture, people and local traditions amaze visitors. Iceland has a total population of 320,000. This country is the only where no mosquitoes exist.

The tripod plays an important role in the photography as the waterfalls give more spectacular images when exposed with a slow shutter speed. Day 8.

On the last day of the tour, we return to Reykjavik, but stop at Akranes Lighthouses on the way, and then say goodbye to this exciting island when we arrive at the airport.

In order to get the best photos possible during the tour, it is sometimes necessary to make sacrifices. There may be unexpected events – weather changes and other environmental factors – that override the planned program. For us, participants’ safety is of the utmost importance: if a program is cancelled or delayed, it will only be to provide the best possible experience.

If, due to an unexpected event, a program cannot be completed at all at the announced time, the tour guide will try to reorganize and regroup the programs.

The most important thing for the organizers is to have fun, but the final decision is theirs and must be followed by all participants.

Good health is a prerequisite for travelling. Serious cardiovascular problems, nervous and mental disorders can be disqualifying factors. Consult your doctor if your personal condition requires it.

Would you like to take professional photos too?

Our guides will show you what to do and how to do it. We deal with everyone individually. We adapt to the circumstances. If the weather or the lighting conditions are inadequate, we will return to photographing the subject in the most appropriate conditions. One thing is for sure: thanks to the memory card in our camera (not to mention ours), the memory of travel will be with us forever.
